Owowcow Store Manager (Full-Time)

Reports to: Owowcow General Manager


We make small batch, artisan ice cream from scratch using the best quality ingredients sourced from our local farm partners whenever possible. Besides making extraordinary ice cream, we take pride in giving exceptional customer experiences. Our ice cream shops are the places we get to interact with and give value to our community, create relationships with our customers, and share our exciting flavor creations. 


Our ice cream is passionately made, warmly shared - a Store Manager plays a key role in our company’s growth by bringing this phrase to life through their leadership.


Store Managers are expected to:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations with a sense of urgency and attitude of positivity; juggle inventory, daily task management, training and developing staff, and much more

  • Lead a team of 15-20, set the tone for a supportive, productive, and fun work environment

  • Exhibit a passion for our community, an attention to detail, a willingness to keep the shop sparkling clean, the stamina to serve long lines with positivity and enthusiasm, and the ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Be resourceful and calm when challenges arise, utilize great judgement and common sense

  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Be well versed and able to articulate what separates Owowcow from the rest, communicate that to the first and 500th customer of the day with the same care and excitement 

  • Lead fun and productive shifts

  • Communicate company information in a way that connects each team members to what’s going on at Owowcow


Store Manager Qualifications:

  • Management experience (1-3 years)

  • Customer service experience (1-3 years)

  • Can successfully train, guide, and lead others

  • Strong work ethic, works well under pressure

  • Energetic, positive, great communicator

  • Leads by example, excels in a team environment

  • Is organized, adaptable, creative, resourceful, and a problem solver

  • Has an appreciation for the craft of small-batch, artisan ice cream making that prioritizes premium ingredients and a premium process
